Lynn Morgan Carpenter: Well, here we are. We're in the month of February and as promised, I'm dedicating the entire month to one of my most favorite topics and that's relationships. My name is Lynn Morgan Carpenter. I'm the founder of Live More Connected and we're going to focus on how we can live more connected to our relationships.
And to kick this off, we are going to start off with the most important relationship you will ever have. And that is relationship to self. So the relationship you have with yourself. And we're starting here because this drives and affects and influences all the other relationships you have in your life. All of the other outside relationships. It all comes back to the state and the health of the relationship that you have with yourself. So this is why we are going to focus on this this entire week. And one of the reasons why I want to bring this to you, why it is so important is because here's a fact.
Until we have given space, time, and nurtured the relationship we have with ourself, it becomes nearly impossible to truly be connected and understand and know the unique desires of our heart and our soul. And that affects the ability to even have the connection to our calling to even be able to understand. So yes, I have a passion of calling. This has been a theme that has started in my life when I was very, very small and continues to be a thread that has gone through my life. So yes, our calling, our soul's, calling, our inner calling is a live breathing existence and energy that we come here with. And in order to very much tap into that and really learn what it is, be able to listen to it and trust and act on it comes down to the core of having that relationship with self so that you can be in communication with that inner calling, with the soul's, calling with your soul, be in communication and relationship, and be able to then start to drive your life from that place.
So this is why I'm very excited to bring this to you because the state of your relationship with yourself does have a prominent effect. It affects how you're able to show up in the most genuine and authentic way. So really reaching towards that most authentic expression of you, of who you are, of what you came here to express and be and do and show up and touch the lives of others. And so when we have that core relationship with self, we become really rooted in, we become really grounded to where we can start living daily and we are breathing from that place. We are living from that place and it's what others are able to witness when they're engaging with us. So it's very, very important.
And also, here's the other thing, you are the common denominator in all of your relationships, and the quality of those relationships that are in your outside world all comes back to the quality of the relationship that you have with yourself. So stay tuned. We're going to be going more into this all this week and I really want to encourage you to take the first step in nurturing, creating space, and developing that relationship with self. It'll be the greatest relationship that you will ever, ever have witness and be in relation with. It is only going to serve you and your entire life. And I am so thrilled to be able to show you a glimpse of what this is cause it is powerful. So here we go to live more connected to our relationships, starting with the relationship with ourselves.
