Lynn Morgan Carpenter: Okay, so I wanna come here and I wanna talk about energy. And, um, you know, this is an interesting time because energetically there's a lot that's going on. There's a lot that's going on. And we have gone through hard times. We are going through hard times, and I really am wanting to tap into this notion of what, what do we do and how can we take care of our energy? How can we also have positive, uplifting energy while navigating hard times, while going through challenging roads, while knowing that hard things are before us? I wanna bring this to you because, um, it's hard. It's, it's been a journey. It's been a journey for so many people, and it is hard. And I think also there's a trap. There's a trap in, we've been walking this journey of hard and the trap of, well, then everything just sucks and everything just is gloom and doom.
And so I want to bring some light, some light to you. If you've been experiencing this. Some light to the, to our world, to our community of, okay, it is time to shift. And that shift, that internal energetic shift from the dark to the light, from the dim to the bright, is up to us as individuals. And what I love, what I love what I hear from my friend, Christina Luna astrologer, is that what we do, us as individuals that's on the microcosm. It has an effect on the macrocosm. So the micro is where we focus. And just knowing that when we are tending to the garden of our energy, that it has a ripple effect. It has an effect on our community, on our family, on our friends, on our world. And starting there, because I get it, like there's a lot of stuff going on and you know, it, it can be easy of like, I want to shift this, I want to change this, I want, you know, but goodness, all so much of that's out of our control. But what is in our control is ourselves and our energy and how we tend to the garden of our energy every single day. And the reason why this is important is because the state of your energy has a direct effect on your mindset and has a direct effect on your mind health. And the state of your mind health dictates the state and the quality of your life. And so when we can really hone in and understand that, number one, the only person that is responsible for how I am feeling inside, internally, and how I am coping and dealing with the hard is myself. I am the one. There's nobody outside of me that can make a shift this differently. It is up to me, and here's what I wanna share.
This is worth it and worthy of it, because although we've been navigating the hard, here's the other truth. Life is beautiful and it is a gift. And can you find the gift in the mud? Can you find the diamond that's in the sh!t turd? I mean, oh my goodness. I just, I just want to be able to shed light and shed the message, share the message right now that it is time, it is time for us as individuals to sink in and say, okay, yes, this is taking place. Where is it that I need to accept this? I have to accept this current situation of what's taking place.
Yes, of course. And where can I also find the joy? There are joyful moments within the hard, but it is up to us to navigate and to be able to excavate and to be able to see those gifts, see those gifts. And I'll tell you what, when you're navigating the hard and you can see the gift of joy that comes before you, and oftentimes it's in such simplistic form, that is where life really is, that's where the life moments really are. Um, I recently had an experience of this. So I have a family member going through the challenges of cancer. Um, and with cancer, it's an up-and-down road. I mean, if any of you have gone through it personally or have, um, walked a, a friend or a family member through that journey, it is up and down. And a big part of it is that it changes what you crave, like food and drink.
And it just makes that a whole, um, sh!t show really. And my family member, when I was there visiting, he said, Hey, can you go into the refrigerator? Can you grab me a bud light and a frosted glass from the freezer and bring it here? He hadn't been able to drink beer for a really long time. And the fact that he was craving one and that I had the honor to go and to get that for him and to be able to bring it to him and to pop the top on that can and have the perfect angle of the glass to pour the beer and to be able to serve that and sit with him while he enjoyed the simple thing of a beer. And I was able to enjoy, fully enjoy the simple act of just getting him a beer and pouring it in a glass and sitting there and watching him enjoy it.
And so my point in this is that we all go through hard things and everybody's hard is different. It comes in many different shapes, shapes and forms. Um, but I also encourage you to just excavate the beautiful little diamonds of joy that's within that hard. And by doing that, we do have an energy shift. We have an energetic shift. And, um, and that's just what I wanna share for you this week, is that as you go through your week, I mean, of course it's easy when things are roses and rainbows and butterflies to like, oh my gosh, this is so fun and joyful. That's easy, that's easy, and it's important. It's harder, but let me tell you, when you can find the joy when you're walking through the river of hell, when you can find the joy in that, wow, does it have potency. And typically it's the smallest things that feel on a regular, random day and everyday thing.
So that is my message for you today. This is us talking about energy, and this is us wrapping our arms around joy, even when we're navigating the hard. It's important. I care about you. I hope that this brings some light to you and I hope this has an impact on your week to where you are able to really savor those nuggets of joy because they are literally at your finger fingertips everywhere you turn, they're there waiting for you, waiting to be recognized, waiting to be acknowledged by you, and waiting to be enjoyed. Just simply enjoyed by you.
