Lynn Morgan Carpenter: So today I wanna talk about wellbeing. And really how this came and was sparked is that I recently had a beautiful conversation with my daughter who's about to turn 16. We had this moment where we went to a bakery and shared coffee with each other, and the conversation came up where she said, you know, Mom, I really think for my generation that the primary focus is going to be building a life around wellbeing. So really having a focus on mental health and wellbeing and that, um, what would be driving, quote-unquote, a successful life is on the rate of your total wellbeing and living a life and incorporating components that really add into that sense. And I just loved the conversation. I loved the insight. And number one, I think yes, how amazing and beautiful that would be, and why can't we start it now?
And so I just, I just merely wanna bring this conversation to the table so that as you go along your time this week, day to day, really start asking yourself, if my focal point in my life is around my wellbeing, what would I shift? Is there anything that I would change, that I would tweak? Would I think about this differently? Would I say this differently? Would I treat my body in a different way? How can I really look at the core of what makes me feel the most well and incorporate into my daily routine habits that support that, that support my overall well-being? And so I merely just wanna bring this to you and allow yourself to marinate in this, that if my primary desire and my focal point is really to wake up each day and be experiencing a day of well-being, what do I need to adopt? And what do I need to release? So this is the message for today. This week, let's focus on our well-being and let's help this younger generation that already have an understanding of this. Let's start showing them also what it looks like to have the adults that surround them in a space of also focusing on their well-being. Because how well we are also has an effect on how well others can be in our environment.
