A tool I often use when I find myself in a challenging situation is that I seek counsel from my Higher Self. So I'm gonna explain this a little bit about what this looks like. And I first wanna start by giving you my personal definition of our Higher Self. So our Higher Self is connected to our soul, and it's not governed by ego. It only knows love. And our Higher Self approaches challenges with a deeper sense of wisdom. And it also has a natural protection over our overall well-being. And the benefits of connecting with our Higher Self is that it disengages. It disengages us from drama, from going into story, you know, going into these radical stories about a situation that takes us down these different rabbit holes. It also helps to disengage us from unhealthy internal dialogue, you know, where we almost claim a war on ourselves internally. It calms the turbulence of a situation. And connecting with our Higher Self is a conscious way to connect to your intuition. So this week I want to just encourage you that as you're navigating the week, and if you find yourself in a situation that's feeling a bit of a struggle or challenge, or, or you're being triggered or you're having some pain to really lean on your Higher Self versus your, your human self. So you're gonna seek counsel with your Higher Self because our human cells, oh boy, as humans, we can just get bogged down. And it's so easy. It's so easy. And this is where awareness and mindfulness and all the work that I bring here to you is to help with this. Like, when, you know, I'm stepping into my human self right now because I'm going into a place of blame, of finger-pointing, you're wrong, I'm right, victimhood, and it's wrapped up in lots of ego. So that's our human self.
But this week we're going to really start leaning more so on the wisdom that can come from our Higher Self, and that place that just naturally wants to protect us and guide us and navigate us through these situations and experiences that we will experience as we're on this journey of life. So this week, ask yourself, as you're approaching some sticky situations, ask yourself, how would my Higher Self view this? Another question you can ask is, how would my Higher Self take action on this? So yes, this is a practice. It's like anything, the more we practice it, we become better. It's not as if, oh, I'm aware of my Higher Self, so now I have all higher thinking. It's a practice. But this is a tool. This is a tool. It's been a great tool for myself and I wanted to share it with you this week. So consider this, this practice of connecting with your Higher Self, doing that more and more reaching out for counsel to help navigate through sticky situations and allow this just to foster your overall well-being.
