Lynn Morgan Carpenter: Hi there. I'm so happy to see you here in my home office, and I just wanna say thank you to all of you who have helped me to celebrate that I now have an office in Midtown Reno. Now, today I wanna be able to share with you a tip that came into my consciousness. I actually woke up with this thought on my mind, and it's been a great strategy for me personally, and I felt like it's time to share it here with you. And what that is, is understanding whatever we put our energy towards, whatever we put our attention on, we highlight. We energetically walk through life with a giant highlighter and whatever we are putting our attention and our focal point on, we are literally highlighting. And so this is a power tool, I feel, because it's a visual. It's a visual of what is it that I'm wanting to highlight in my life? What is it that I want to highlight in this situation? What do I wanna highlight in this conflict? My dealings with this person? What do I wanna highlight in the dealings of my own thoughts, my own mindset, and where I am? So it's very powerful because once you become aware of what you are giving attention to, what you are giving energy to, what you are highlighting essentially, It will allow you to see what is the focus at that moment in time. And two things where this personally helped me in my life. Number one, here's the deal. We all walk through darkness at times. We all walk through murky waters. But the beauty of really allowing yourself to go into life coaching topics and giving yourself the gift of learning those topics, strategies, tools, what it does is it empowers you so that when you get into those places of murky waters or feeling heavy or feeling low, you can start to kick in your awareness and develop the strategies and the tools to bounce you up out of that. So that's really the goal. In all of this work, you can have a quicker rebound. What I feel is that this is a great tip and tool because whatever you're highlighting is the focal point in your life at that moment in time. So the two places that this has recently been helping me, as I said, we all walk through the challenging times, but when I was able to then flip that and say, okay, what is it that I wanna highlight in my life? Well, I wanna highlight everything that is working well. I wanna highlight the positives on beauty, my connections with people. I wanna highlight the love of myself, the love for other people, the love for this world, the love for spiritual energy. That's what I wanna highlight and also wanna highlight what are my goals? What are things that bring me energy and that I want to fuel and I want to see blossom and transform? What is that? That's what I wanna highlight. So when I could really bring in that visual and say, okay, in this moment, what am I highlighting? Am I highlighting all the positives and the beauties and the things that's gonna add value to my life? Or am I on the other side of highlighting the darkness? The other thing is, this is a really great thing that if you find yourself in conflict, or if you find if somebody does something that gets under your skin or is a little annoying, and you're wondering, how do I wanna deal with this? So when you find yourself in conflict, you can literally look at that and say, okay, what do I wanna highlight here? Do I wanna highlight adding to the conflict, or do I wanna highlight resolution? And you get to choose what you wanna do. The other thing is, is you have that person that does something that is annoying, that gets under your skin. Man, when that happens, we can so go down that rabbit hole and then we can go into stories, and then we can go back into back history and say, yeah, and I remember when this happened and that happened. We can build a whole case against this person, against the situation. And all of that is really low vibrational energy that we can get trapped under. In those moments, you can say, okay, what do I wanna highlight here? Do I wanna highlight the story of this situation and what this person did, and do I wanna highlight it by even getting a little testy with them? Depends on the circumstance. Sometimes that might be needed, but you know, do you wanna highlight and bring more energy into it by doing that? Or could this situation be dealt with where you just pass over it? You say, okay, yeah, that happened. Boom. What is it that I'm wanting to highlight? What is it that I wanna give attention to in my life? Well, I'm gonna give attention to the love. I'm gonna give attention to the good things that are thriving, things that I want to blossom in my life. I wanna give attention to opportunity, possibility, hope, and I wanna give attention to solution because this is what propels us forward in our lives, and it's also what nurtures our well-being. Because anything that's at that low vibrational state, it is murky, it is heavy, and it's not serving. We can learn a lot about ourselves in those states. So that's why I say there's a reason that we have both, but it's not a place for us to stay. If you find yourself there, ask yourself, okay, what am I wanting to highlight today in my life? And just start with today and say, I'm gonna choose to highlight the positives. I'm gonna choose to highlight what's working well, and I'm gonna choose that if there is change that's seen in my life that, I'm gonna highlight that and start exploring what that is, and do the discovery of that. Highlight the things in your life that's going to add value and that's going to uplift you and propel you forward in your beautiful life. So again, I just wanna say thank you to my community.
